Application of Fundamental Rights of Victims in Criminal Procedure - ECHR Case-law (summoning, hearing, effectiveness of the investigations), link between the human rights catalogue in the Convention and in the EU Charter
On 4 - 5 September 2014, the Judicial Academy of the Slovak Republic organised with the cooperation of other V4 judicial academies the second seminar in the project in the premises of its detached centre in Omšenie. This topic was predominantly targeted to judges, prosecutors and other judicial practitioners in Visegrad countries who come into contact with victims of criminal offences.
Seminar was held in Slovak and English language with simultaneous interpretation into these languages.
Composition of the audience included 19 participants (judges, prosecutors and other judicial practitioners) from Slovak republic, 5 participants from Czech republic (4 judges and one contact point from the Czech Judicial Academy), 10 participants from Hungary (9 judges, prosecutors and judicial practitioners and one contact point from the Hungarian Judicial Academy) and one polish judge and one polish prosecutor.
The overall evaluation of the seminar was 1,26 marks. Overall evaluation of the content of the seminar was 1,53 marks. Overall evaluation of lecturer Ms. Marica Pirošíková (agent of the Government of the Slovak Republic before the European Court of Human Rights) was 1,84 marks. Overall evaluation for the lecturer Mr. Peter Horvath (Hungarian judge seconded to the European Court of Human Rights) was 1,53 marks.

V dňoch 4. - 5. septembra 2014 pokračovala Justičná akadémia Slovenskej republiky v spolupráci s akadémiami V4 v implementácii projektu organizovaním druhého seminára v priestoroch detašovaného pracoviska v Omšení. Téma seminára bola určená sudcom, prokurátorom a ďalším justičným pracovníkom, ktorí prichádzajú do kontaktu s obeťami trestných činov.
Seminár bol vedený v slovenskom a anglickom jazyku so simultánnym tlmočením do týchto jazykov.
Na seminári sa zúčastnilo 19 sudcov, prokurátorov a ďalších justičných pracovníkov zo Slovenskej republiky, 5 účastníkov z Českej republiky (4 sudcovia a jeden kontaktný bod z českej akadémie), 10 účastníkov z Maďarska (9 sudcov, prokurátorov a justičných pracovníkov a 1 kontaktný bod z ich akadémie), a jedna poľská sudkyňa a jeden poľský prokurátor.
Celkové hodnotenie seminára bolo známkou 1,26. Celkové hodnotenie obsahu seminára predstavovalo 1,53. Celkové hodnotenie lektorky JUDr. Marice Pirošíkovej (zástupkyne SR pred ESĽP) bolo 1,84 a lektora Dr. Perta Horvatha (maďarského sudcu dočasne prideleného na stáž na ESĽP) bolo 1,53.
Hodnotenie sa počítalo z odovzdaných evaluačných hárkov vypĺňaných anonymne, kde 1 predstavuje najlepšiu známku a 5 najhoršiu; priemerná známka sa počíta z počtu udelených známok pre každú otázku samostatne)
